Little girls love playing dress up – twirling in front of mommy’s mirror in her too-big black pumps, pearl necklace, and clumsily applied red lipstick. All grown up, women sometimes lose that sense of fun when it comes to fashion and beauty. That’s what ETUDE House brought back last April 21-22 with their Pink Playhouse set up at SM North EDSA The Block. It was a giant playhouse for grown-up dolls. Guests were treated to free makeovers, cotton candy, popcorn, doll-themed games, and of course, free copies of MEG magazine. There were also fun and enlightening talks from fashion & beauty experts: ETUDE’s Boram Kim on the Science of Skincare, MEG Fashion Assistant LA Ferriols on the 2012 Summer Trends, MEG Beauty Editor and Junior Art Director Ning Hilario’s live demo using ETUDE’s latest collection, and Lev Rodriguez on Power Dressing. There was also a surprise performance from Stephanie Dan.
Leave room in your vanity kit for ETUDE’s newest releases: Sun Prise Skin Protection Line – sunscreen with moisturizers for both face and body, the adorable Dear My Blooming Line for cheeks and lips, Lovely Cookie Blusher with a cottontail puff, and the revitalizing It’s Real Mask Set. Thanks to ETUDE House, even the rain can’t keep the fun away. Now even gorgeous grown-ups have reason to play.
